Description

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

Amazon WorkSpaces Personal, WorkSpaces Applications, and WorkSpaces Core, make up the AWS managed service platform for Agentic Workspaces based in the Amazon cloud. This suite enables customers to choose the optimal desktop, or application streaming service for their specific needs—enabling workers to be productive from any supported device, while maintaining a strong security posture, improving agility, and reducing cost. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing business that promises to be unique in the web services arena. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Key job responsibilities

- Deliver Results: Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, and references

- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets

- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan

- Manage the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners

- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around the use of AWS Agentic Workspaces solutions

- Accelerate customer adoption

- Manage and maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline of opportunities

- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption

- Close new business and add-on business from new and existing accounts; develop referrals and reference accounts by building long-term strategic relationships with key accounts

- Coordinate and participate in regional team meetings for education and product strategies

- Expect moderate travel.

Qualifications

- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience

- Experience in quota carrying technology field sales management or business development experience leading teams that sell to medium and large enterprise accounts

- Ability to operate with a high degree of ambiguity and in a matrixed organization Industry experience selling Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Application virtualization.



Extended Qualifications

- Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent

- Communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with customer executives, IT management, and internal stakeholders. - Experience working with cloud computing technologies/companies.

- Experience managing large Enterprise customer accounts across a geographical territory

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
