The Cloud +AI Business Planning team is looking for a talented individual to join a great team focused on creating new business models to drive revenue for Mixed Reality and Developer spaces. As a Senior Business Planner, you will own the business strategy and pricing models for a range of offerings across Mixed Reality hardware (HoloLens) and Developer (Visual Studio, GitHub, etc). The business models you build will impact customer innovation is a critical new opportunity space for the Microsoft business.
• Leading cross-functional teams to create, implement, and refine business models. • Partnering with engineering, product marketing, finance, and other teams to drive cross-discipline initiatives for exceptional business results. • Defining and delivering the business model decisions for new offerings, including launching new service constructs. • Developing key metrics, forecasts, and reporting in partnership with finance and engineering to monitor business performance. • Setting the business model strategy, SKU line-ups, pricing, and service meters where appropriate for our Azure offerings. •
The ideal candidate will have a track record of working with a large group of internal partners to define and execute creative new strategic initiatives with passion, precision, and excellence in emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will also have excellent analytical problem solving skills and be able to develop solutions meeting competing requirements, using data to drive decision making. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must to drive projects and build executive buy-in and support for key projects.
