Microsoft 365, (includes Office 365, Windows 10 and Enterprise Mobility Suite and other services) is at the core of Microsoft's cloud strategy and is the fastest growing commercial product in Microsoft's history. This continued growth and adoption relies heavily on a vibrant ecosystem of developers, ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) and partners building products and solutions that connect to 100M+ O365 users, leverage Microsoft technology and sell through the Microsoft commercial marketplace. The Microsoft 365 Ecosystem Business Planner role is responsible for defining the business models and strategies to attract developers and ISVs to build solutions that grow the Microsoft 3 rd party ecosystem and increase customer lifetime value. This role owns the business model and monetization aspects of every part of the Developer/ISV journey: Platform engagement – strategy, business model and commercial implementation of the various Developer, ISV and Startup programs within Microsoft 365 Data
Recommended Qualifications: • 5+ years in marketing / strategy / consulting / start up experience • A passion for technology and deep understanding of developers/ISVs • Excellent problem identification, structuring and resolution • Excellent communication and presentation skills; with ability to influence at the Corporate Vice President (CVP) level • Excellent business analysis and strategic thinking skills • Experience designing and developing new business models • BS with a technology or engineering background, MBA strongly preferred
