The Capacity Supply Chain and Provisioning (CSCP) group is an exciting and fast evolving group within Microsoft whose vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering cloud capacity differentiated at scale. The organization is responsible for strategy , delivery and operations of all data centers globally powering Microsoft cloud properties. CSCP supports over 200 online businesses including Bing , O365 , OneDrive , Xbox and Windows Azure branded services. Cloud Sourcing and Supply Chain (CSSC) organization within CSCP manages sourcing and supply of hardware for the data centers. Well-defined and executed sourcing and supply chain management ensures reliable on-time performance , optimized cost , prevents urgent and unplanned investments , and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. Our focus is on smart growth , high efficiency , and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide

Manage pricing, contracting and supplier selection for logistics service providers. Drive Microsoft-established supplier performance metrics including on-time delivery performance, inventory positions, lead-times, product transitions, and risk analysis Identify select, and manage new logistics service providers based upon specific criteria for Cloud business Develop roadmap for creation of new logistics capabilities including VMI hubs and innovative delivery models. Create strategic proposals and positioning for emerging capabilities and trends within logistics assessing operational feasibility
Proven capabilities in operating in a growing , fast-paced , results-oriented environment Logistics Operations and or Sourcing management with demonstrated success in managing service providers. Technology Supply Chain experience and network with worldwide exposure to best in class delivery models and vendors. Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization Strong skills in financial business case analysis and cost modeling and ROI development. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
