The Amazon Fresh and Prime Now (F3) teams are hiring a Sr. Supply Chain Manager to help drive an excellent customer experience by optimizing existing business functions and inventing solutions for previously unsolved problems. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager excels at querying and analyzing data to dive deep, invents and simplifies to solve complex problems, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to deliver results. The Sr. Supply Chain manager will demonstrate strong ownership of the supply chain and is responsible for delivering results on a continuous basis, and also for creating new processes to continually improve on these results. They will collaborate with vendors, operations, finance, tech teams, and other functions to execute on these goals. Specific responsibilities include: · Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to continuously improve overall cost structure, customer experience, enable new capabilities, and reduce waste · Answer complex business questions and make decisions
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Operations, Engineering, Statistics or Finance · 5+ years supply chain, inventory management, retail and/or project management experience · Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills as well as written and verbal communication skills · Detail orientation with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects · Proven ability to manipulate and analyze data sets · Proficiency in SQL and Excel · MBA preferred · Strong proficiency in business intelligence, including creation of complex queries using SQL, validation
