The Senior Technical Sourcing Manager will lead implementation of AWS Compute Hardware Sourcing Strategy to support AWS Global Cloud Infrastructure. Successful candidates will bring strong knowledge of Hardware, Software, and Networking systems with a focus on Processors and Graphics accelerators. Candidate needs to have proven ability to steer product roadmaps from concept through mass production. AWS serves over a million active customers in more than 190 countries. · 10+ years of experience in supplier management, technical marketing, strategic sourcing, or engineering · Overall system knowledge of servers, networking and software · Experience in Product and Program Management · BA/BS degree in Business or Engineering or related field · 5+ years of negotiation experience · Technical knowledge and market expertise in Processors, Graphics card, and /or ASICs · Experience managing technology and/or procurement teams · Advanced Engineering degree and/or MBA · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements
