Amazon Linux team is responsible for maintaining the Amazon Linux AMI which is made available to our customers via the AWS console. We're also responsible for the tooling required to build and maintain the Amazon Linux operating system. We have openings for engineers with experience building scalable and distributed web systems. Systems Development Engineers work with technical leaders to refine technical direction, and then follow through with detailed analysis, designs, and superior code. They are equally comfortable leading small, focused project teams as well as making major direct contributions to the project.
