Amazon Linux team is responsible for maintaining the Amazon Linux AMI which is made available to our customers via the AWS console. We're also responsible for the tooling required to build and maintain the Amazon Linux operating system. We have openings for engineers with experience maintaining scalable and distributed web systems. Systems Engineers work with technical leaders to refine technical direction, and then follow through with detailed analysis, designs, and high quality work with little or no guidance. Systems Engineers contribute to the evolution of software , systems engineering practices, recommending changes in development, maintenance, processes, and system standards.
