MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Company: Amazon Web Services, Inc Position Title: Systems Administrator/Engineer II Location: Seattle, WA Position Responsibilities: Participate in support activities, such as ticket triage and memory leaks. Work with development teams to establish and improve service support, build new tools and dashboards to reduce the operation effort. Understand the business logic and architecture of support services to regularly resolve undocumented trouble tickets. Read and understand complex JAVA/C++/RUBY application code and make code fixes to resolve support issues. Mentor junior support engineers. Create and interpret metrics that measure support success and service performance.
Position Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a Software Development Engineer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Master's degree and one year of experience.
