We are a team of highly collaborative developers who can tackle hard problems and build solutions at all layers of Windows. The team owns Desktop and WINRT APIs, user mode drivers, NT services, kernel mode drivers, Windows Server components, Windows Store Apps, Document Technologies, render components and Print Services. Define the next generation stack for printing on Windows platforms. Work with engineers from global Printer Manufacturers to improve reliability and enable extensibility. Work with 1st party experiences and app developers to drive innovation in print space. Research and incubate new cloud-first technologies that can extend Windows Print Experience on a wide range of devices (Windows, iOS, Android)
Basic Qualifications: • 5+ years software development experience • Proven coding and design skills using C or C++ Preferred Qualifications: • BS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience • Solid architecture, design, development, and testing skills • High-reliability platform development experience • Solid analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
