We are looking for a talented and experienced engineering manager to build and lead a team responsible for scaling domain expansion and creating an extensible platform for Amazon's Choice. You will be responsible for attracting top engineering talent, developing and mentoring engineers, developing a product vision, executing on the vision and ensuring high quality software system. On this team, you will shape how customers shop on Alexa and Amazon.com. You will have broad impact and be able to look back and say you helped to shape the future of shopping
· 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams · 5+ years of software development experience in object-oriented design and coding in Java or C++ or related technologies · Strong design, architecture, and problem solving skills · A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent· A Master's Degree in Computer Science · A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a proven track record of shipping software on time · Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical
