AWS QuickSight is a fast, easy-to-use cloud-based, serverless Business Intelligence (BI) service designed for easy deployment to tens of thousands of users. As a fully-managed SaaS application, there’s no need to buy, manage and scale servers and no software to deploy and upgrade. QuickSight is deeply integrated with AWS data sources, allowing companies to deploy secure and scalable BI with their data on AWS. We are looking for seasoned technical leadership and people management in the form of a Software Development Manager. We would like a person with more than a decade of production software development experience who can manage a team of outstanding developers, make multi-year architectural decisions and lead R and D efforts to success. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or related field · 10+ years of software development experience · 5+ years of people management experience · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving · Proven track record of delivery · Master Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. · 10+ years of people management experience · Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment · Experience in designing and building customer facing user experiences
