The Prime Video Downloads Services team powers the future of Prime Video Downloads. We enable our millions of customers worldwide to watch any videos anytime, anywhere in a mobile world. We create innovative new downloads experiences used every day by people you know, collaborating with app developers, service teams, and data providers. You will realize customer-facing features on the Prime Video mobile apps through building highly available backend services. We are a new feature team and you will define the foundation for innovating and refining our product. Our services give customers control of the downloads experience they want and enable client teams developing on any platform to deliver features faster to customers. You will own large-scale services, optimized data storage and reporting, and the implementation of business rules driving the whole experience. We are looking for engineers who work to empower others, are customer driven, and embrace a high level of operational excellence
· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience · Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design · 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. · 3+ years of proven experience in Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, data structures, and object-oriented design · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field · Strong problem solving skills
