The IMDb consumer site (www.imdb.com) is the #1 movie website in the world with a combined web and mobile audience of more than 250 million unique monthly visitors. The IMDb Web Infrastructure and Rendering team is responsible for building the core technology architecture of IMDb's consumer-facing websites. The team designs and builds the framework that shapes how IMDb looks, and how IMDb’s websites are built. We build for builders and for IMDb's end-users. We help guide what IMDb builds and how we build it. We want to work with engineers that care deeply about quality, and who want to build functionality that allows IMDb engineers to efficiently create wonderful features and experiences. Engineers joining this team will participate in key decisions, and build technology products that provide the foundation for the future of IMDb's web presence. The role of Software Development
· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 1+ year relevant work experience · Solid experience in Java, C#, C++ or similar language · Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis · Experience of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations·
