Sr Network Service Engineer position Microsoft Exchange Online Protection (EOP) is a cloud-based email filtering service that helps protect our customers against spam and malware. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide. We are looking for a passionate, high energy individual to help build the infrastructure that powers one of the world's largest online cloud services. Our team is the Network Service Engineering team within Exchange focusing on Exchange Online Protection and Transport services. This team provides operational support across multiple data centers spread throughout various regions across the globe. Additionally, we are responsible for all network capacity expansion, net-new network rollouts, network troubleshooting, remediation, load balancer and OOB security patching, hardware issues deployment automation and reporting. Service reliability and stability are our core imperatives. A successful Sr. Network Service Engineer will analyze, triage, mitigate and repair any issues impacting availability. We are also focused on network capacity expansions with net-new capacity rollouts on an ongoing basis, as well as continuous code deployments, security patching and decommission work. Candidate will advise on business and technical requirements. Use expertise to design components of the architecture, and operability and customer scenarios that meet compliance standards and KPIs. 4 years of network related service engineering/operational experience in an online service or internet service provider environment. This time should include a mix of hardware analysis/investigation as well as experience using automated deployment technologies. A solid understanding of TCP and UDP, familiarization with network related RFCs including BGP, and DNS and capability to engage in advanced troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. Familiarization with SDL Experience with load balancing (local and global),
