We are looking for systems level software engineers with a passion for coding, problem solving and debugging skills to join this growing team with opportunities to work across the breadth and depth of the SQL Server Storage Engine. As a Senior Software Engineer in the Storage Engine team, you will have an opportunity to learn and contribute to allocation subsystem, I/O subsystem, DBMS building blocks (Buffer Pool, B-Trees, Lock Manager, Log Manager), Column Store, Versioning, Transaction Services, Recovery and Backup/Restore.
