Engineering Performance Team The Azure Production,
Azure is Microsoft's ever-expanding set of cloud services created to help organizations meet their business challenges. The Azure Production, Infrastructure and Engineering Performance Team is tasked with making Azure even more reliable by developing tools and services which discover and analyze any interruptions across Azure. Our team identifies reliability discrepancies within the platform and then works with teams across Azure to find the root cause and address the issue. We also partner across Azure to ensure new features are high quality and reliable before they are released to customers. As a result, we have the first opportunity to integrate and use new Azure platform features before they are released.
Our Team ships to production daily, which requires stealth design and development skills. We follow agile methodologies with a focus on efficiency, iterating quickly and failing fast. This role will focus on Linux, C++ and Debuggers and will give you the opportunity to gain experience developing across the Azure platform and become a leader in analyzing reliability issues across the service. Experience in the following areas is required: 5+ years coding C/C++ 5+ years developing on Linux Experience with debuggers such as GDB 2+ years Delivering cloud services in an engineering role A BS or MS degree in Computer science #PIEJOBS Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
