The CSI Quality team within Azure is responsible for monitoring and driving core fundamental and quality initiatives in partnership with the engineering teams, other Azure teams, and external partners. You will work in a collaborative environment, focused on delivering world-class customer experiences on top of the Azure fleet. As a member of the team you will help analyze customer issues, contain an mitigate issues based on playbooks, drawing on subject

• Analyzing, containing, and mitigating hardware issues by utilizing playbooks created in collaboration with SMEs. • Work with ODMs, OEMs, vendors, and internal teams to drive resolution, and manage incidents • Proactively manage hardware in response to hardware signals such as quarantining nodes and migrating workloads • Initial responder to live site issues with hardware to minimize customer impact and involve appropriate SMEs • Develop automation to reduce latency times and potential for human error • Close coordination with core Azure teams and data center operations • Work with CSI development
Bachelor's required, MS desired • 5+ years of hands-on experience (testing, validation, design and development or sustaining) with x86 Industry Standard Server or related products from OEMs or ODM Partners is a plus. • 2+ years hands on Programming skills with C, C++ or C# and scripting skills with PowerShell, Python or Perl is essential. • 4+ years and a strong grasp of key technologies in servers such as CPU, motherboards, BIOS, BMC, remote management, memory, storage sub-system is a plus. • Hands on experience of operating in Windows environment and imaging tools (System Center, WDS etc.) is
