The Alexa Smart Home Team is seeking a software development engineer in test to help develop test infrastructure and set up processes on improving the quality, diversity, and customer experience of smart home devices. The ideal teammate is passionate about Alexa and has a track record of success in delivering the highest quality IOT products. A commitment to teamwork, knowledge of IoT systems, strong CS fundamentals, experience on devices test practices, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field · 7+ years of experience in software development and testing in Java, C++ or C# · Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages · Experience with Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis · Experience building and designing test cases including knowledge of test methodologies · Experience with testing methodologies· Experience with firmware automation and testing · Experience with IoT · Experience working in a UNIX/Linux/RTOS environment · Knowledge of industry
