We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector who combines technical skills with a passion for ensuring Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) parts, assemblies and aircraft meet designed specifications. The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for developing and execute all aspects of quality assurance inspections, quality metrics, audits, and improvement projects. Activities within this program include the following: · Performing incoming and in process inspections · Assist and conduct audits with in-house production organizations · Develop quality metrics
· High School degree · 2+ years of quality assurance work experience in automotive, high tech, aerospace or aviation manufacturing environment building or repairing multi-disciplinary hardware products · 2+ years’ experience with manufacturing inspection processes of electronics, wiring harnesses, aviation machined parts and/or composites · 2+ years’ experience using height gauges, micrometers, calipers, go/no gauges etc. · Excellent people skills · Proficiency with M/S outlook, word, excel · ASQ certified quality, associate, inspector or auditor · CMM or Romer Hexagon Arm profeinciy · A and P
