Amazon Fulfillment Services is seeking talent to join the North American Transportation Long-Term Planning team. As a Product Manager for Long-Term planning, you will be responsible for working across transportation organizations at Amazon to deliver detailed, robust, and comprehensive ways to inform our short and long-term planning. The primary focus will be on building cost data that satisfies multiple internal use cases from simple reporting, to high-level decision-making, to determining the tactical flows of packages. You will be responsible for ensuring that the products used to deliver this data meet the needs of your customers and deliver value in their daily work. As a member of this team, you will
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or technical field from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon experience · 2+ Years of experience with Supply Chain Management concepts, e.g., forecasting, planning, optimization, product flows, transportation, distribution and fulfillment. · Advanced knowledge of Excel, including use of look-ups and pivot tables.· MBA and/or MS, and work experience in a technical or finance field. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently. · Prior experience with Lean/Six
