The foundation of the Microsoft Cloud (Azure) is Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The Portal team owns and drives the end-to-end Azure User Experience for IaaS and we are looking for a Principal Group Software Engineering Manager to lead the team forward. The team's area of ownership comprises of several services spanning Compute, Network, and Storage workloads - Virtual Machines, Kubernetes, Files/Blobs/Tables, Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, Azure DNS, to name a few.
This individual will work directly with counterparts in the backend teams to build a cohesive industry leading user experience for our IaaS customers. They will also directly own, drive, and report key KPIs (usage, adoption, NPS, performance, reliability) to C and AI leadership on a regular basis. As part of building the experience of these foundational parts of Azure, the team regularly improves and redefines what it means to build global scale services. In doing so, we set the direction and design patterns for other services to follow.
