The Xbox Cloud Gaming team is looking for an experienced Principal Data Science Lead with a track record and passion for shipping on time and with quality in software services at scale; this includes PC, mobile clients and proprietary hardware. Are you obsessed with helping Customers and Partner experiences materialize? Do you love gaming? Do you have deep knowledge related to software/service readiness through preview programs like Flighting/AB testing/experimentation? Have you designed and built listening systems as an indicator to measure engineering readiness for the ecosystem? If so, we want to talk with you. You will build a small team to drive a culture of operations and release across all aspects of the new Cloud Gaming Streaming service, from service, to clients, to SDK. You'll be in on the ground floor, helping build the systematic process of promoting and release Xbox services to larger and larger populations ("audiences" or "rings") by measuring release readiness for in-market

Build big data platform to power next generation Game Streaming telemetry Bring service-mindset to data delivery for internal partners and external customers Collaborate with our XBOX business, service delivery and engineering partners to understand objectives, deliver maximum business impact and return on investment Identify opportunities to leverage predictive platform usage analytics and define their requirements Implement data processing and monitoring standards to assess data quality Ensure the data warehouse and reporting solutions are stable, supportable, extensible, and trusted by our business
Highly proficient with in RDMS, Visualization and reporting stack, running on large volumes of data Experience working with x-store and streaming data pipelines, familiarity with azure stack a plus. Strong background in data architecture and its implementation in large environments. Strong background in machine learning and predictive analytics methods Outstanding cross-group collaboration skills and proven ability to drive results across multiple organizations.
