As a member of Amazon's SPSX development team, you will be a key player in driving the growth of Amazon's Consumer business. The SPSX team is enhancing many of the business processes that run Amazon Retail and Amazon Marketplace. We are building new services and enhancing the existing vendor and seller systems to support them. You will solve technical challenges in optimization, large-scale computing, scalability, DW solutions,
· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field · At least 2 years of industry work experience as a Data Engineer or related specialty (e.g., Software Engineer, Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Scientist) with a track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets. · Demonstrated ability in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing. Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.). · Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Ruby, Java, etc.)
