We are looking for Applied Scientist who can expand their NLP and ML knowledge to give customers a delightful experience when listening to their Kindle books. You will have the opportunity to make an impact to the design, architecture, and implementation of products that span multiple internal Amazon teams to deliver solutions that are customer delighters. · Ph.D. in NLP, ML, Statistics or another highly quantitative field. · Publications in top-tier NLP and ML conferences and journals. · · Strong sense of ownership and drive. · · Strong communication skills · Skills with programming language like R, MATLAB, Python or similar scripting language.· Significant peer reviewed scientific contributions in relevant field. · Extensive experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment. · · Expertize on a broad set of ML approaches and techniques, ranging from Artificial Neural Networks to Bayesian Non-Parametrics methods. · · Proven track record
