Improve relevance of enterprise search results (emails and documents). Data analysis to understand users pain points in search, design, implement, experiment, and ship solutions to address these problems accordingly. Experiment with new features for the relevance model and implement/ship them. Improve the online runtime and the offline experimentation platform for better runtime quality and performance, and higher experimentation agility
Required qualifications for this position include: 5+ years of experiences in applied science and software/service product development 2+ years of experience in informational retrieval Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and great team work skills Highly Desirable: Experience in Search relevance/ML/NLP is a big plus Experience in large scale data mining and cloud computing Familiarity with big data framework, and parallel/ distributed processing such as Hadoop/Spark/ Dryad/Scope
