The CO+I Engineering team (CO+IE) delivers services, applications, and automation supporting datacenter planning, construction, and operation. We own a large portfolio of services, including workflows that enable predictable, lowest cost datacenter construction, telemetry systems that drive high availability and optimized energy usage, and task and performance management applications that help our operation run as efficiently as possible. CO+I Engineering is a competitive advantage for Microsoft, and an important pillar in its cloud success.

We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including the Microsoft Azure service portfolio, Microsoft 365, Dynamics, Xbox Live, and Microsoft Live services. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 100 datacenters and 1 million servers. Our portfolio is built and managed by a team of subject matter experts working 24x7x365 to provide services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries worldwide.

We are looking for a customer obsessed, data driven, Senior Technical Program Manager with robust collaboration and communication skills, and execution ability, to drive telemetry related initiatives in the Datacenter Transformation space. As a Senior TPM you will be responsible to drive product vision, strategy and execution of the products developed for our data center operators. You will lead a cross-functional team of world class software engineers, datacenter operators & SMEs, and partner with Azure Engineering teams to define and deliver step function business improvements through transformative software solutions. This is a unique, high impact opportunity to work at the intersection of business and technology, and space is expected to grow significantly over the next few years.

In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.

As the Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be accountable for driving the adoption and deployment of Microsoft’s Critical Environment monitoring platform, ensuring high availability of our data centers hosting Microsoft’s customer data and workloads . Driving technical advancement is key – we are continuously learning, growing, and evolving our technical capabilities to gather more data, more quickly, and more reliably. Working across teams to achieve these goals is a must.

You will work effectively across teams to ensure adoption of Microsoft’s critical environment monitoring platform, ensure its expected operational parameters, and drive future improvements and enhancements to the platform. You’ll work with Program Management, Software Engineering, Operations, and Engineering teams to achieve these goals.
