Drive complex programs for capacity management in support of our global Microsoft Entra Services. Deliver critical outcomes for the business units that span 70+ service engineering teams. Capacity management is a central function that partners closely with Microsoft Entra service engineering teams, datacenter Capacity Supply Chain & Provisioning, COGS management, as well as the core services’ buildout and automation teams. Programs you own improve our engineering processes – you will make it better to be an engineer at Microsoft Entra. You will make it more efficient to operate hyperscale infrastructure running on millions of cloud instances globally.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, supply chain, data center capacity managementOR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos). 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Leads standardization of processes, tools, and drives continuous improvement to optimize productivity.Solid analytics and critical thinking accompanied with strong data modeling skills (PowerBI/Excel). Passion for technology and curious to further learn the how and why behind the numbers. Possess technical acumen and an ability to translate what is really needed into clear requirements.Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
