Microsoft’s Cloud & AI organization is building the infrastructure and platforms that power the world’s most advanced AI workloads. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of complex, multi-year Engineering deliverables for Microsoft’s strategic AI partnerships. This will involve defining and driving project roadmaps, identifying critical milestones, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure that deliverables are met on time and to the highest standards of quality. In addition, you will partner with executive stakeholders to communicate progress, manage expectations, and align on strategic objectives, playing a key role in shaping the success of Microsoft’s AI initiatives. Through your leadership, you will ensure excellence in the delivery of engineering commitments for these critical engagements, maintaining a focus on innovation, reliability, and customer impact at every stage.

Responsibilities

Own the planning and end-to-end delivery of engineering commitments for Microsoft’s strategic AI customers, ensuring alignment with customer goals, technical requirements, and business outcomes.

Coordinate multi-workstream programs, manage escalations, and synthesize engineering and operational signals into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Drive structured intake, prioritization, and transparency across engineering deliverables, ensuring clarity, timely reporting, and proactive identification and resolution of systemic issues.

Build credibility and trust with customers, while effectively communicating complex AI infrastructure topics.

Drive clear communication and alignment across stakeholder groups, including Engineering teams, Supply chain, Finance, Business development, Legal, and Security

Prepare executive-ready materials and updates to support decision-making and stakeholder visibility across Cloud & AI

Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes to improve agility, scalability, and on-time delivery

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.Additional or preferred qualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
