As a Technical Program Management Specialist, you will help lead efforts such as designing product architecture and solutions to complex technical needs, identifying trends in product quality and performance to define or change existing features. This opportunity will allow you to help with prioritizing and delivering on the roadmap, managing project schedules and release plans; monitoring product/service performance and driving continuous improvement in quality, profitability, supportability and delivery. You will act as technical advisor with customers to evangelize products, solicit feedback and support field sellers where needed.

Responsibilities

You will assist others in identifying opportunities and gaps in the implementation of a feature including comparison of various quality and performance metrics to various solutions. You will help leverage customer listening systems, telemetry, engagements (e.g., interviews, surveys), etc., to develop insights into product and/or service performance and customer needs and may assist with customer engagements to solicit feedback and understand their experiences with Microsoft’s products and services.You will assist others when working with Software and Hardware Engineering to design architecture and integrated customer solutions to technical needs for a feature (e.g., product, service) and help internal and external technical partners and/or architects to represent technical solutions to customers.You will work with a feature crew and assist others to orchestrate and integrate efforts for the development and implementation process of a feature (e.g., product, services) for cross-functional projects with internal teams and external partners.You will partner with others (e.g., Data Science, Software and Hardware Engineering) to collect performance metrics (e.g., Key Performance Indicators [KPIs] such as usage, quality, speed, and cost), monitor and report on progress (e.g., business reviews) and derive insights that lead to productive courses of action to improve development, iteration, and implementation of a feature (e.g., product, service) You will embody our culture and values.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's DegreeOR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or currently pursuing) AND 1+ year(s) experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

OR equivalent experience 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos)

Technical Program Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
