The CE&S Customer Experience Architecture (CXA) team is dedicated to applying our technical depth and subject matter expertise to deliver keystone innovations that transform customer experience and accelerate business value. The CXA Architecture Programs, Strategy & Execution (APSE) team drives strategic, cross-functional customer architecture cloud program initiatives that drive business impact through collaboration, technical depth, and operational rigor. By aligning with customer experience goals and Microsoft priorities, we ensure quality execution, transparent engagement with stakeholders, and timely delivery of durable innovation.
As the Principal Technical Program Manager in CE&S CX Architecture team, you will drive critical engineering focused rhythms as part of our commitment to customer experience. This opportunity will allow you to demonstrate cross team collaboration skills, understanding of the product lifecycle and deep technical acumen, and ability to deliver against key initiatives. You will gain a unique perspective of what we do and how it impacts customer outcomes. You will work closely with leaders across the organization as you play a critical role.

Responsibilities
• You will serve as technical program manager supporting cross-company initiative.
• You will create relationships with stakeholders and executives to drive strategy, orchestration and integration efforts across program initiatives.
• You will provide technical oversight in development of initiative tracking and execution against roadmap.
• You will track initiative governance programs and processes to ensure that specific performance requirements and standards are met throughout the development lifecycle (e.g., quality, compliance privacy, security, safety, accessibility).
• You will be a partner with Software and Hardware Engineering to implement complex technical solutions across feature areas. You’ll also give key stakeholders data-driven recommendations based on identified risks.
• You’ll author success criteria and create relationships for implementing multiple feature areas for highly complex cross-functional projects. You’ll coordinate and ensure alignment across the business.
• You will develop and deliver on roadmaps for multiple feature groups across divisions, track project schedules, drive development of staging and implementation plans, and manage governance programs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, technical product/technical program management, data analysis, or technical product development
o OR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team technical or technology programs.Other Requirements:

These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, technical product/technical program management, data analysis,
o OR technical product development
o OR equivalent experience.8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team technical or technology programs.1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
