This service enables customers to run their Oracle databases on Azure with high performance, security, and reliability, while seamlessly integrating with native Azure services.

The Oracle Database@Azure team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the AI evolution of Day 1 and Day 2 operations for Oracle databases on Azure. In this role, you will own the product roadmap and feature set that bring intelligent, AI-powered experiences to the full lifecycle of Oracle Database workloads on Azure – from initial provisioning and migration (Day 1) to ongoing monitoring, optimization, automation, and maintenance (Day 2).

Responsibilities

Lead Infrastructure Expansion: Own and drive programs to scale Oracle Database@Azure infrastructure. This includes regional buildouts, hardware deployments, and service enablement across availability zones. Ensure new deployments meet high availability, performance, and security standards.Supportability and Operational Readiness: Ensure all infrastructure expansions and feature launches are operationally ready. Define telemetry, logging, and diagnostics requirements. Partner with support teams to develop incident response plans, runbooks, and readiness training.AI-Driven Reliability and Diagnostics: Leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce incidents. Implement anomaly detection, intelligent alerting, and automated root cause analysis. Work with engineering to embed proactive health monitoring and self-healing mechanisms.Cross-Team Program Execution: Drive alignment across engineering, infra, support, and partner teams. Track dependencies, manage timelines, mitigate risks, and deliver programs from planning through execution. Ensure seamless collaboration across stakeholders.Technical Leadership in Observability: Influence design decisions to improve telemetry and monitoring. Promote best practices in observability, alerting, and diagnostics to enable real-time visibility and operational insights.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
