Security represents the most critical priorities for our customers in a world awash in digital threats, regulatory scrutiny, and estate complexity. Microsoft Security aspires to make the world a safer place for all. We want to reshape security and empower every user, customer, and developer with a security cloud that protects them with end to end, simplified solutions. The Microsoft Security organization accelerates Microsoft’s mission and bold ambitions to ensure that our company and industry is securing digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds in our customers’ heterogeneous environments, as well as ensuring the security of our own internal estate. Our culture is centered on embracing a growth mindset, a theme of inspiring excellence, and encouraging teams and leaders to bring their best each day. In doing so, we create life-changing innovations that impact billions of lives around the world.

The Microsoft Security Strategy & Risk Operations (MSSRO) team is the strategic backbone of security assurance across Microsoft Security (MSec). MSSRO partners closely with the dCISO (Deputy Chief Information Security Officer) "squad" to identify, prioritize, and validate security risks, and to ensure those risks translate into clear, actionable engineering work. The team drives structured fan-outs during incidents, develops scalable assurance and risk-reduction frameworks, and builds automation that reduces organizational toil so a small, high-leverage group can support security needs across a vast product landscape. MSSRO also provides executive-level visibility into the state of MSec’s security posture through metrics, analytics, and ongoing evaluation of secure-by-design practices, serving as a connective tissue between strategy, engineering, and operational execution. We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join to our team.

This role is the operational and connective core of the dCISO rhythm of business, ensuring that MSec’s risk governance engine runs with clarity, consistency, and executive-ready precision. The person in this role drives the full cadence of dCISO and executive reviews, orchestrates cross-team alignment, and ensures that product groups, vertical owners, and security champs show up with the right data, decisions, and follow-through.
