Description
Azure Networking builds, operates, and manages one of the largest private networks in the world—Microsoft’s global network. Within this organization, the Internet Protocol (IP) Services team is responsible for managing Microsoft’s IP address inventory. This includes implementing technologies such as Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), partnering with security teams to ensure robust protections, and optimizing the use of existing IP address resources for efficiency and effectiveness.As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will engage with teams and services across Microsoft to understand their applications and help improve their security posture. This role provides the opportunity to gain insight into a wide range of scenarios, contribute to operational visibility for leadership, and drive improvements in overall efficiency.

Building collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and driving alignment on ownership attribution for all Internet Protocol (IP) inventory.Appropriate level status reports and dashboards which includes reporting to various levels of leadership on progress, gaps, and where help is needed.Correlate escalations to ensure correct prioritization.Orchestrate cross-workload solutions with Engineers to ensure that overall processes are enhanced to ensure continued ownership attribution.Support team efforts for automation of IP allocations, enhancements of processes to reduce manual toil, and improved validation and automation.Other:Embody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Other Qualifications:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos) and understanding of IP protocols such as Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) and IPv6.1+ year(s) experience with cloud infrastructure technologies, leading engineering teams and ability to coordinate large scale programs.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
