Cyber Defense Engineering (CDE) manages services which enable defense operations for Microsoft. Our Remit covers engineering for threat hunting, containment, investigations and security incident operations. We are a group of engineers and product managers partnering deeply with analysts to evolve our current suite of tools to operate at the speed and scale of internal threats. We are looking for a talented customer-focused Technical Program Manager who is passionate about Big-Data, Cybersecurity, and Cloud.

Partner with Engineering to design solutions to complex technical needs.Drive rhythm of business (sprints, quarterly planning, persona definitions, planning, etc) and operational excellence.Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on customer and business needs, data, and feedback.Collaborate with our business partners to understand objectives, key results, and prioritize projects to deliver maximum business impact and return on investment.Iterate and improve the product based on user feedback, data, and learnings.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience. 

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.  1+ year (s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.   1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos). 

Technical Program Management IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
