We work closely with industry leaders across hardware, software, firmware, services and our 1st and 3rd party game development partners to ensure Microsoft’s platforms are designed and optimized to meet the needs of our most passionate fans and players, whether they choose to play on the Xbox console, their Windows PC or laptop, TVs or mobile devices.The Xbox Platform Team mission is to lead the Operating System (OS) & Platform for the next generation of gaming across a product portfolio of devices. This team is hiring an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to support growth on the XBOX Platform Team.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will deliver scalable software platforms for players and developers. You will work across player & developer experiences, commerce, business, and platform to deliver cross-functional features and programs that customers love. You will also be able to leverage customer-first and product leadership as well as technical excellence to meet and exceed customer needs.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or software development preferably with consumer facing product and/or large scale developmentOR equivalent experience.2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects and mentoring other Program Managers.2+ years experience working with operating systems, platforms, and integration across platform and devices/experiences with an emphasis on technical knowledge.Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development for a consumer facing productOR equivalent experience.6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Experience working on at least one full product lifecycle of gaming focused products, or equivalent (e.g. Games, XBOX, PlayStation, Steam, etc.) OR other consumer facing product.1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).2+ years people management experience.Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
