Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

The Cloud Manufacturing Operations and Fulfillment (CMOF) organization within CSCP manages business operations performance and supplies hardware to the data centers. Well-defined and executed supply chain management ensures reliable on-time performance, optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide. Within the CMOF organization, the Readiness Engineering & Sovereign (RE&S) organization plays a key role in the pre-dock readiness and First Footprint execution across GPU (Graphic processing unit), Compute, Storage, as well as end-to-end Sovereign execution across CSCP.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager for our Deployment Readiness Engineering team. A well-defined and executed supply chain ensures reliable performance, optimized cost, manages unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base. Our focus across the infrastructure organization is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide.

With a technical program management and process improvement mindset, this role is responsible for delivery of GPU Cloud capacity. The role is 80% focused on managing deployment execution and 20% on Design for Excellence improvements and data analysis driving operational efficiency and optimized service delivery.



Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.2+ years experience with data analysis/presentation, SQL and Power BI or equivalent skills and knowledgeOther Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years industry experience in enterprise process engineering in complex cross functional matrixed environments, engineering program management, and Infrastructure deployment operations3+ years industry experience in product/process Design for excellence with emphasis on operational optimization at scaleDemonstrated technical problem solving and excellent analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills with attention to detailComfortable in executive presentations and communicationsComfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirementsKnowledge of Supply Chain principles - Planning, Sourcing and Delivering

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
