We are the Azure Memory & Storage Center of Excellence (AMS COE) team at Microsoft, focusing on Memory (DRAM and its replacement) and Disk Storage (SSD and HDD) as building blocks, supporting a secure, reliable, and most trusted cloud experience to customers and partners worldwide.

AMS COE is part of the Cloud AI and Advanced Systems Engineering (CAASE) organization under SCHIE (Silicon Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering), which is the team behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior Technical Program Manager to join us in our expanding team in the US. In this role as a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will collaborate with different organizations in SCHIE and CAASE, and across Azure to ensure a secure, reliable, and most trusted Cloud Hardware Infrastructure platform from Memory and Storage point of view, including various aspects of HW and FW, with a focus on NPI (New Product Initiative). Lead technical activities related to FW/HW management for NPI (New Product Initiatives) and supporting broader EGs (Engineering Groups) within Azure from Storage and Memory perspectives Collaborate with cross-functional teams within SCHIE and CAASE for Azure fleet health on system level, with a focus on NPI and deep involvement in shift-left activities Facilitate Change Management Process with related Documentations Fleet data visualization in Power BI or other platforms Other

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development o OR equivalent experience.2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.4+ years of experience in new product development process and sustaining, preferably Storage and/or Memory product development process/sustaining. Deep knowledge in Memory (DRAM and its replacement) and/or Storage technologies (SSD and HDD), including HW and FW.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with high complexity HW/FW program development process. Experience with Cloud and/or Enterprise server product development process and system level knowledge Experience with Storage device FW management including NPI and Sustaining Experience in Kusto query and Power BI data visualization Experience with Microsoft DevOps and dashboard Experience working with Enterprise Class Memory and Storage products from multiple vendors in NPI and Sustaining. Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and data analytics skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills and people skills, innovative, and can inspire, motivate, and lead cross functional teams.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
