As the Security Portfolio Senior Product Marketing Manager you will play a pivotal and strategic role in delivering on this mission and goal. You will establish a disciplined, market-in approach to storytelling for Microsoft’s security product portfolio. You will create messages, content, and stories that establish unique brand positioning that is recognizable, resonates, and drives brand love.

Create simple and compelling messages, positioning, and stories for the Microsoft Security portfolio for content integration into campaigns, pitch decks, executive communications, videos, demos, sales enablement, key launches, events, and momentsOwn the messaging framework for the Microsoft Security product portfolio, keynote presentations for major events, and pitch decks for portfolio-level product packagingPartner closely with product line PMMs within the Microsoft Security business to integrate security portfolio messaging into security product messaging and vice versa (messages that ladder up, down, and connect across)Partner closely with PMM teams across Microsoft’s other businesses to integrate Security messaging into the top-level Microsoft messaging and other product/business narratives for key moments, launches, and big keynote storiesManage portfolio marketing knowledge base including persona profiles, firmographics, and market definitions/segmentation, business information that can be leveraged as proof pointsPartner closely with marketing research teams to drive ongoing marketing research, tracking MS Security brand perception, consideration, preference, and audience trends/dynamics relative to our main competitors

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in businessOR equivalent experienceExperience in cybersecurity/IT marketing in organizations at global scaleExperience in creating customer-facing content, including product marketing, thought leadership, and general marketing collateral for a portfolio of B2B productsKnowledge of security/IT buyers and users, firmographics and buying behaviors within enterprise and mid-market B2BPreferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in businessOR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in businessOR equivalent experienceCommunication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor the content and the delivery to different audiences and formats and can influence decision making across executives and the broader organizationExperience writing/creating marketing strategies that are based on market and audience segmentation and analysisComfortable speaking/presenting to small and large audiencesAbility to provide examples of written work, presentations, and recordings of content deliveryProduct Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
