The Xbox Rewards team is responsible for key initiatives crucial to this vision. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who can quickly shift between strategic planning and detailed execution, allowing the team to deliver complex projects under tight deadlines. You'll develop engaging features, conduct experiments to enhance gamer and business results, and create experiences that celebrate gamers. You'll work closely with developers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver top-notch products through scalable, high-performance experiences. You'll ask tough questions to ensure the best outcomes for customers and possess deep customer empathy, using it to prioritize and make difficult decisions.

The candidate will have experience with consumer products and a demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that achieve user engagement and monetization targets. They will be proficient in working with both technical and non-technical teams, be exceptionally self-organized, highly analytical and data driven, experienced in leading virtual teams and relationship building, deeply customer-obsessed, and action oriented.

You will drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria for multiple feature areas. You’ll also identify long-term investment opportunities and engage partners to garner support for those feature areas.You will help define a feature set and facilitate mid-level usability reviews with customers. You’ll own the roadmap for multiple feature areas, and will collaborate with partner teams to build golden configurations and drive scenario walkthroughs.You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in targeted areas. You’ll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers.You will collaborate with Product Marketing, Business Planning, and Engineering to identify product release criteria, customer acquisition, usage, retention, engagement, and monetization strategies. You'll create and drive strategy for taking owned feature areas (e.g., product, service) from private preview to public preview and then to general availability.You will present complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leadership and various stakeholders. You'll provide regular updates on project status, identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations etc.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience. 

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of the gaming industry with a specific focus on engagement, monetization and rewards programs.  5+ years experience as a Product Manager in a consumer environment.   Experience working with designers and familiarity with user experience design concepts and tools (Figma).Confidence with Excel, Power Point, and experimentation tools and techniques.   Technical aptitude and the ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks. Proficient analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive decisions.   Experience working in a fast paced environment and interacting with senior leaders (group managers, directors, Vice Presidents).

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
