We’re looking for a Senior Interactive Web Designer to lead the visual and interactive expression of these experiences. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who can move seamlessly from concept to execution by combining strong design sensibility with front-end fluency.
You’ll define and build elegant, performant experiences across the customer journey and bring together systems thinking, motion, and modern web technologies. You’re hands-on, detail-obsessed, and comfortable working at the intersection of design and engineering. You also know how to leverage emerging AI tools to accelerate workflow without compromising craft.

Responsibilities
Experience Design
Lead concepting and design for full websites, campaign experiences, and key interactive moments. Create work that is clear, expressive, and grounded in the customer journey.
Front-End Craft & Development
Translate design intent into production-ready experiences using modern web technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Build prototypes and partner closely with engineering to ensure the final output matches the vision.
Interaction and Motion
Define interaction models, transitions, and micro-interactions that feel intentional, responsive, and refined across devices.
Prototyping and Alignment
Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, motion studies, and coded prototypes to align teams, test ideas, and resolve complexity early.
Performance and Quality
Design and build with performance in mind. Optimize for speed, responsiveness, and strong Core Web Vitals without compromising design integrity.
Accessibility
Ensure experiences meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards, with thoughtful consideration for color, typography, motion, and interaction patterns.
Data-Informed Iteration
Use research and analytics to inform decisions. Form hypotheses, test ideas, and refine experiences based on real user behavior.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with creative leads, writers, engineers, SEO, and business partners to align on direction and deliver cohesive, high-quality experiences.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years designing and shipping interactive web experiences for leading consumer or product brandsA portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design, interaction thinking, and work that shipped. Shows both craft and systems thinking across a range of experiencesExpert in Figma and component-based design systems. Able to define responsive behaviors and create clear, scalable specificationsStrong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Next.jsDeep understanding of responsive design, browser behavior, performance constraints, and modern animation techniquesStrong working knowledge of accessibility standards aligned to WCAG 2.2 AAClear communicator who can present work, explain decisions, and align teams across disciplinesComfortable using AI tools to accelerate concepting and production while maintaining quality and brand standardsAble to interpret research and analytics and translate insights into design improvementsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience designing for global audiences, including localization and right-to-left layoutsFamiliarity with motion implementation techniques such as Lottie, SVG animation, or lightweight animation systems Experience working with headless CMS platforms and modern web stacks Comfortable collaborating in agile environments with engineering and content teamsExperience contributing to or evolving large-scale design systems
Product Design IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
