Description

Overview

The Frontier Transformation Framework helps our customers become Frontier Firms: organizations where AI is not a tool added to the business but part of the operating system the business runs on. Every phase of that journey is carried by eight delivery capabilities — Trust and Governance, Frontier Change, Human-Agent System Design, Organisational AI Capability Building, Value Creation and Management, Continuous Improvement, Experience, and Copilot and AI Intelligence Layers. Today these capabilities are delivered largely by people and point solutions. To scale them across every customer, sector, and engagement, they must be productized into a common platform that our teams and our customers can run on.

We are seeking a Frontier Tools Architect to build the Agent and Intelligent Platform that enables the eight capabilities to execute with customers. In this role, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and backlog for the agents, accelerators, and intelligence tooling that turn framework capabilities into repeatable, instrumented software. You will translate how our architects, change practitioners, governance leads, and delivery teams work into platform features — building on Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Agent 365, and grounded in the Work IQ, Fabric IQ, and Foundry IQ intelligence layers — so that what is designed once can be deployed, measured, and improved everywhere.

This is a role for people who can move from a delivery-team pain point to a shipped product feature, who are equally credible with an engineering pod and with a transformation lead in front of a customer, and who are energized by turning eight distinct disciplines into one coherent platform. You will decide what to build and what to reuse; you will define the telemetry that proves value; and you will make the platform the fastest, safest way to deliver Frontier Transformation at scale. If you are excited by the opportunity to build the machinery that an entire transformation practice runs on, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Agent and Intelligent Platform, sequencing investment so each of the eight capabilities is progressively productized rather than delivered by hand.Translate the delivery motions of the eight capabilities into reusable platform components — agents, accelerators, templates, connectors, and instrumentation — that teams can deploy directly on customer engagements.Define and manage the platform backlog, writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria, prioritizing against customer impact, reuse potential, and delivery risk.Build on the Microsoft AI platform — Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Agent 365 — and design how the platform consumes the Work IQ, Fabric IQ, and Foundry IQ intelligence layers to give agents personal, operational, and authoritative context.Partner with engineering pods, business architects, human-agent system designers, change practitioners, and governance leads to convert capability blueprints into technical requirements and shipped features.Embed Security into the platform by design — security, compliance, monitoring, and named accountability for agent quality and behavior — so governance evolves alongside capability rather than behind it.Define the telemetry and value metrics the platform captures, so cycle-time, capacity, adoption, and P&L impact are measurable and visible to delivery teams and executive sponsors.Run the operating rhythm for the platform — intake, releases, feedback loops, and a continuous improvement cadence that retires, extends, and hardens components based on real engagement signals.Enable delivery teams and customers to adopt the platform through documentation, patterns, and enablement, so capabilities can be operated and extended independently after the engagement fades.Success in this role looks likeThe eight capabilities are increasingly delivered through the platform, reducing the manual effort required on each engagement.Agents, accelerators, and tooling built once are reused across multiple customers and sectors.Platform telemetry quantifies capacity unlocked, cycle-time reduction, and P&L impact, and that evidence is visible to executive sponsors.Governance, security, and accountability controls are built into the platform and satisfy regulated-industry requirements.Delivery teams adopt the platform as the fastest, safest default way to deliver Frontier Transformation, and customers can operate and extend it independently

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, AND 4+ years of product build experience for software, platform, or tooling products; OR a Master's Degree in a relevant field AND 5+ years of such experience; OR equivalent experience.Proven track record owning a product or platform from strategy through roadmap, delivery, and adoption.Experience productizing internal or delivery capabilities into reusable, instrumented software used at scale.Hands-on understanding of building AI agents and applications, including agent orchestration, tooling, and integration patterns.Strong ability to translate the needs of delivery, engineering, change, and governance teams into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.Experience defining product telemetry and value metrics and using them to prioritize investment.Ability to make build-versus-buy-versus-reuse decisions and manage a product portfolio with competing dependencies.Experience working directly with engineering teams and with senior stakeholders in a customer or executive setting. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree (MBA or a relevant technical discipline) or equivalent advanced qualification.Working knowledge of the Microsoft AI platform, including Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Agent 365.Understanding of the Work IQ, Fabric IQ, and Foundry IQ intelligence layers and semantic-layer / data-architecture concepts.Experience building or integrating governance, security, and compliance controls into AI products for regulated industries.Familiarity with the disciplines behind the eight capabilities — human-agent system design, change management, value management, and continuous improvement.Experience with platform enablement — documentation, reusable patterns, and capability transfer to delivery teams and customers. Background in management consulting, enterprise transformation, or delivery organizations.
