As a Client Delivery Partner (CDP) – Manufacturing Industry, you are accountable to Microsoft’s largest manufacturing customers for the successful planning and execution of business and technology transformation programs. You combine deep industry expertise with leadership of large-scale transformation initiatives to help customers modernize operations, accelerate innovation, and achieve measurable business outcomes.You serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives, partnering with leaders across Information Technology, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Development, and Digital Transformation organizations. Leveraging Microsoft’s technology portfolio, ecosystem, and delivery capabilities, you help customers transform how products are designed, manufactured, delivered, and serviced in an increasingly data-driven and AI-powered world.

Responsibilities
Drive outcome-based client value through manufacturing transformation, innovation, and industry thought leadership
Leverage manufacturing industry expertise to shape client strategy and deliver measurable business outcomes.Co-create transformation roadmaps focused on operational excellence, supply chain resilience, engineering innovation, workforce productivity, sustainability, and intelligent factory initiatives.Help customers modernize core manufacturing capabilities including product development, factory operations, quality management, asset management, and supply chain functions.Drive innovation through cloud, AI, advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and industrial data platforms.Maintain a strong industry presence through manufacturing forums, customer engagements, and thought leadership activities.Build durable, trust-based relationships
Serve as a trusted advisor to customer executives through deep understanding of manufacturing business models, operational priorities, and industry trends.Build executive relationships across CIO, COO, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Development, and Digital Transformation leadership teams.Partner with Microsoft executives to align industry insights, technology strategy, and customer business outcomes.Enable sustainable account growth through long-term strategy and execution
Develop multi-year transformation strategies aligned to customer priorities and measurable operational outcomes.Help originate opportunities that accelerate modernization across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, data, and AI initiatives.Ensure delivery excellence across solution development, implementation, adoption, and realization of business value.Leadership and develop people
Lead individuals within a matrixed professional services team; provide performance feedback and mentor future leaders.Guide Microsoft teams on client engagement strategies and scalable, repeatable solutions.Other

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 10+ years solution delivery, customer-facing consulting, or digital transformation experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 12+ years solution delivery, customer-facing consulting, or digital transformation experience
OR equivalent experience.
6+ years leadership experience in a matrixed environment.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 12+ years solution delivery, customer-facing consulting, or digital transformation experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND 15+ years solution delivery, customer-facing consulting, or digital transformation experience
OR equivalent experience.
12+ years relevant experience within manufacturing, industrial products, automotive, aerospace, electronics, consumer goods, chemical, or process manufacturing industries.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale digital transformation, modernization, or business transformation programs for manufacturing organizations
Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes, operating models, and performance metrics.
Experience engaging executive stakeholders across manufacturing operations, supply chain, engineering, product development, and technology organizations.
Experience delivering programs involving one or more of the following domains: Manufacturing Operations and Smart Factory initiatives
Supply Chain Transformation
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Industrial IoT and Connected Operations
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence solutions
Experience executing transformation strategies in complex, global manufacturing environments involving multiple business units, partners, and system integrators.12+ years relevant work experience in solution delivery.
5+ years relevant experience in financial management (e.g. profit and loss).
Management consulting experience, influencing executive decisions and driving business outcomes.
Experience running disciplined customer and business review processes with cross-functional teams, prioritizing blockers, and problem solving across organizational boundaries.
Experience executing transformation strategies and operating in complex environments.
Client Delivery Partnership IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $146,000 - $243,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $184,400 - $267,000 per year.
