Description

The Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) Head Quarters (HQ) Team is looking for an experienced Business Program Manager who is results oriented, innovative, and a collaborative self-starter. Reporting to the Deputy Chief of Staff and Sr. Director, this individual will support the various operations and workstreams supporting the CELA HQ Team.

The CELA HQ Team provides strategic direction, co-ordination and support for the broader CELA department, and leads a variety of corporate initiatives. The Program Manager role has been created to support the execution of various special projects and events, both internal and external facing, and provide business support for defined initiatives.

In this role you will have planning, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone that is flexible, able to multi-task, and demonstrates attention to detail, meet deadlines, and is comfortable working independently within ambiguous situations. Diplomacy and the ability to manage confidential information with the utmost confidentiality, discretion and tact.

Works across multiple disciplines to resolve issues and develop relationships with internal and external groups to increase the effectiveness of CELA engagement on selected projects.Demonstrates an understanding of mapping or how systems work and impact one another. Works with and leverages other teams to ensure program processes are rigorous and executed efficiently. Develops processes around scope and scheduled changes for programs and communicates it to stakeholders.Contributes to or leads a portfolio of projects including the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for complex programs. Communicates the program status and risk to relevant stakeholders and holds them accountable for following the established schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes.Manages and drive selected cross-departmental initiatives working with key stakeholders as appropriate.Proactively identify issues that impede business group success and provide solutions/recommendations.Coordinates and manage a special events Rhythm of the Business calendar that is both predictable and enables success for all participants.Drives logistics for key event presentation or attendance, including pre-reading material, side meeting coordination, and on-site logistic support. Project manage the collation of event materials, presentation decks, and talking points for the Leadership Team prior to events.Coordinates, review, and sign off all materials with necessary stakeholders, including final delivery of materials to event owners.Works independently and effectively and manage through ambiguity.Influence across the organization to drive alignment.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvementOR equivalent experience.Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an executive environment, has a professional presence, and can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.Ability to engage and influence individuals at all levels.Professional maturity and proven ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.Flexibility to handle directional changes with the ability to juggle moving priorities to ensure project success. Proven ability to assess business needs, prioritize accordingly and escalate appropriately.High level of integrity and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Demonstrated proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Proven cross-team collaboration skills in complex organizations.Time management skills.Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment.Analytical thinker with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs.

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
