OverviewThe Sr. Business Analytics Manager role sits in Consumer Marketing at the center of digital marketing, partnering with digital marketers, product teams, and engineering to ensure marketing efforts are measured accurately, translated into meaningful insights, and used to optimize our messaging to consumers across our brand and products. The Sr. Business Analytics Manager helps shift consumer marketing from output‑focused execution to insight‑driven optimization. Your work will influence how our marketers learn from performance, adapt to culture, and continuously improve how our brand and consumer products connect with audiences.
We are looking for individuals with mastery of consumer marketing analytics, a passion for storytelling with data, and change catalysts who use insights to inform strategy and execution. This is a high impact role where your work will directly influence marketing strategies, channel optimization and how teams learn and improve marketing performance over time. Responsibilities
Analyze marketing performance and consumer impact data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform optimization of campaigns, strategies, and storytelling. Translate data into clear, actionable insights by developing simple, visual, and compelling narratives that guide decision‑making for marketers and stakeholders. Provide strategic recommendations that help teams understand what is working, why it’s working, experimentation possibilities and how to improve future performance. Define and maintain measurement frameworks by ensuring data is tracked accurately, metrics are clearly defined, and marketing performance is measured consistently across channels, campaigns and audiences. Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, analytics, and platform teams to continuously improve data quality, insights creation and strategic decision. Enable insight adoption by leading implementation or experimentation of insights into marketing strategy, briefs, and channel decisions; follow through to measure impact. Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 3+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysisOR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysisOR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 6+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysisOR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 8+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysisOR equivalent experience.4+ years of experience in consumer marketing analytics, digital analytics, marketing analytics, or a closely related insights role. Experience analyzing digital marketing performance data and communicating insights to non‑technical audiences. Experience with email, in-product & web data, A/B experimentation, campaign reporting, audience research.  Experience with Marketing measurement concepts (incrementality/lift, attribution tradeoffs, Marketing Mixed Model (MMM). Experience with audience segmentation, funnel/drop-off analysis, creative/message insights, lifecycle (acquisition→activation→retention). Experience with measurement and analytics, or reporting tools (PowerBI, and Adobe’s Customer Journey Analytics) and key performance indicator (KPI) frameworks.  Experience influencing decisions through insights without direct ownership of execution
Business Analytics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
