You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to leverage user insights and create industry-leading products.
As a Visual Designer, you will rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution. You will collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to shape the systems and feedback loops that provide the foundational intelligence layer for Google's agentic ecosystem.
In this role, you will balance system design and a prototyping approach to empower developers and autonomous agents. Operating with an AI builder mindset, you will join an iterative team focused on improving Google's velocity.
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.6 years of visual design experience in product design or UX/UI design.
Experience in data visualization and translating data into stories. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience incorporating generative AI, large language model (LLM) APIs, and agentic workflows into user experiences. Experience in using data to tell compelling stories through interactive media. Experience applying frameworks to align design outcomes with organizational goals and performance standards. Familiarity with technical prototyping (e.g., HTML/CSS/JS) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Extended Qualifications
