Description
Partner with key engineering leads/stakeholders, contribute to ML system roadmap by program managing complex projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls, governance, or standards. Lead end-to-end development and landing of next-gen systems through NPI Product Life Cycle (PLC) process from concept to production and sustaining. Drive a portfolio of tracks to make direct and measurable impact on customer adoption. Partner with engineering leads and cross-functional teams to ensure that organization-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) are set and reflect strategy as well as ensure projects are effectively prioritized, resourced, and managed. Engage with executives and cross-functional leaders to strategize and drive hardware/system roadmap.A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As part of the Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Technical Program Management (TPM) team, you will operate at the intersection of distributed infrastructure, AI-powered innovation, and complex sovereign cloud requirements. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in program management.
Experience with hardware (e.g., servers, switches, storage).
Experience with AI Infrastructure (e.g., compute, storage, Cloud).
Preferred qualifications: 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Experience in advanced analytics and data engineering or systems management (e.g., data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, visualization, data governance, data architecture, and system integration). Experience working with data centers.
Extended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in program management.
