Description
Manage high-impact software projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals, define and execute feature roadmaps that drive measurable results.Partner with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and resources, remove obstacles, manage risks, and communicate to ensure successful outcomes.
Propose technical alternatives when needed and ask clarifying questions to optimize team effectiveness.
Set the idea, direction, and strategy for programs by defining goals and objectives, and lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects concurrently, and define program standards and processes.
Provide clear and proactive communication to all stakeholders, senior leadership, and executives on project status, risks, and progress.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As the Technical Program Manager, you will lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects using engineering knowledge and will be responsible for mobilizing cross-functional teams, delivering solutions for scale, and data-driven decision making to refine and launch solutions that accelerate customers’ success.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in program management.
Experience as a Program/Project Manager in a Cloud engineering environment.
Preferred qualifications: 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience partnering with engineering, product management and support teams to facilitate the design and delivery of cloud programs.
Experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, PaaS, SaaS, enterprise, or supply chain networks.
Experience delivering software products, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical groups.
Excellent leadership skills across organizational and team boundaries.
Extended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in program management.
Experience as a Program/Project Manager in a Cloud engineering environment.
