Description

Identify opportunities to improve scale and speed of cloud expansion by 15, advocate and procure investment decisions, drive such programs with large cross-functional effort. Utilize an accurate/up to date view of the status, risk, and outlook of the program portfolio and institute systematic ways to manage risks and drive program success. Partner closely and influence product and engineering senior leadership to meet business objectives. Orchestrate across a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders (technical and non-technical). Resolve escalations and escalate further as required.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

As a member of the GCP Cloud Expansion Technical Program Management team, you will lead a portfolio of strategic, complex, multidisciplinary programs that significantly accelerate business impact,

drive program strategy, and indirectly lead cross-functional teams in order to successfully deliver business, operational, and technical improvements. You will also be responsible for delivering business value as measured by impact on company level OKRs, ecosystem health, and organizational performance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in technical program management.

Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of fast-paced product life cycles. Experience leading initiatives for the non-linear scaling of cloud expansion while maintaining a positive customer experience. Experience with hyperscale infrastructure deployment, focusing on the development of AI and Cloud platforms and services. Experience in AI fluency, with the ability to leverage the latest models and tools to build automated agents and workflow-enhancing skills. Excellent business acumen and process design skills, utilizing data modeling and analytics to measure initiative success and drive business improvement.

Extended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in technical program management.
