Description
Bootstrap a new YouTube Ads Infrastructure team focusing on next-gen audience audience data collection and serving for high-performance New Customer Acquisition (NCA) and re-engagement with existing customers on YouTube. Build a three year roadmap and strategy for a high-performing team with a clear sense of mission, and effective collaboration with cross-functional partner teams (Product, Sales, etc.). Provide detailed designs and offer sound technical steers for in-team decisions/execution, and effective influence over cross-functional team technical alignments. Set coding guidelines for the team to execute effectively.Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. The YouTube Ads Infrastructure team continues to innovate on data collection and serves infra to maximize the value of advertiser audiences in YouTube Ads serving. The end goal is to continuously improve ads personalization for YouTube users, and to increase Return on Investment (ROI) for YouTube advertisers looking for new customer acquisition and/or re-engagement with existing customers on YouTube.
Advertiser audiences such as an advertiser’s app user, website visitors, or all purchasers are often considered the most direct and effective means to achieve the advertiser’s marketing objectives.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience with software design and architecture. Experience with data processing. Experience with distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects. Experience working with advertising workflows and advertising effectiveness. Experience with product development.
Extended Qualifications
